From the University:
Head away from the University main campus following the Exeter signs down towards the old church in the centre of Charles Cross roundabout. Take the second exit on Exeter St, signposted A38 Exeter, and proceed through a set of pedestrian traffic lights then another set of lights. Very soon after these traffic lights, turn right onto Sutton Road, following the signs for Coxside and the National Marine Aquarium.

At a set of traffic lights proceed straight on. The road will bend sharply to the left. At the bend turn right into Teats Hill road. Go past the marina entrance (on your left), over the speed bumps, and past the blocks of flats.

Turn left after the block of flats and before the playground onto Artillery Place, and you will see a pair of large double gates, which mark the entrance to the Diving & Marine Centre.

From the A38 (Devon Expressway):
Come off at the Marsh Mills exit signposted Plymouth City Centre.

At the Marsh Mills (Sainsbury's) roundabout, follow the City Centre signs (Plymouth Road). Keep in the middle hand lane which then becomes the inside lane. You'll travel down Embankment Road (dual carriageway with the River Plym on your left). After about a mile the road will spilt - you need to be in the inside lane ie take the left fork (City Centre).

After you have passed under a bridge, another road (Gdynia Way) will join you from the left - get into this left lane. Under the next bridge will see a left turn signposted for the National Marine Aquarium/Coxside with traffic lights ahead of you. Head for these traffic lights and go straight through past the Pizza hut complex (on your left) - this is Barbican Approach.

At the next set of traffic lights you will see the Thistle Park Pub on your left. Turn left at these lights. Continue a short distance until the road bends sharply to the left. Turn right on the corner of this bend, into Teats Hill Road. Go past the entrance to Queen Annes Battery Marina (on your left), and proceed past the blocks of flats going over the speed bumps. Turn left after the block of flats and before the playground onto Artillery Place, and you will see a pair of large double gates, which mark the entrance to the Diving & Marine Centre.

Landmarks to ask for if you get lost:
The part of Plymouth we can be found in is called Coxside. We are very close to Queen Anne's Battery Marina. If you can find the National Marine Aquarium in the Barbican, look for and walk across Sutton Lock footbridge. When you get to the aquarium side keep walking keeping the aquarium on your left hand side(you can see our cream coloured building from here on your right) until you get to a playground on your right. Turn right here (before the flats) and we are at the end of the road.
