Training in Year 1:

HSE First Aid at Work

First Aid Course: student under assessment

The HSE First Aid at Work (4 day) course covers all aspects of first aid and is intended to train candidates in the initial responses required when confronted by a person suffering from a wide range of injuries and conditions.

You will consider incident management, diagnosis, summoning the emergency services, providing treatment and dealing with the aftermath of an incident.

A team of professional intructors will take you through the theory and practical training that you would need for any first aid situation.

We try and make our scenarios as realistic as possible setting up various incidents for the students, a great deal of satisfaction is gained from these and are a real learning experience.

This course will also allow you to become an Appointed Person and work under the First Aid at Work 1981 regulations but must be renewed every 3 years with a 2 day refresher.
