Training in Year 1:

Oxygen Administration

Oxygen Administration

The University of Plymouth's Oxygen Administration Award is a one day course intended to train divers in the use of Oxygen as a first aid measure in a range of related acccidents and incidents.

In the rare event of a diving accident a rapid and correct response is necessary. Oxygen first aid plays an important role in aiding an injured diver until medical services are able to take command of the situation.

The Oxygen Administration course teaches the use of oxygen for first aid in diving emergencies in a hands-on, practical way. It is an excellent additional set of skills for all divers, and complements the HSE First Aid at Work qualification.
