VHF Short Range Certificate GMDSS

The GMDSS Short Range Certificate course replaces and updates the previous RYA VHF Licence Course. It is essential for Yacht Skippers and those intending to use Marine VHF Radios.

The nine hour course, covers the operation of marine VHF Radios, Digital Selective Calling and other elements of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System. During the course you will undertake a short written test and practical assessment of operating procedures.
