Debbie graduated from Plymouth in 2000 with a BEng degree in Civil Engineering and a HSE Professional SCUBA Diver certificate. She has since gained further surface supply diving qualifications in South Africa and now works for Pell Frischmann Consultants Ltd. She is part of the underwater inspection team. She is involved with underwater inspections of railway bridges and scour surveys.

"All this work will be reported and then possibly we will assess the bridge or just continue monitoring the bridges over specified time periods. The work is
all over the country so its great to travel around."
